Dance Session｜with Imai Kotomi

今井琴美

北海道出身。

上京を機にダンスを習い始め2016年頃にコンテンポラリーダンスに没入する。

様々な振付家の作品やジュニアカンパニーの経験を経て、現在は自身の振付や即興をベースに映像、写真、インスタレーションなどの芸術を絡めた活動を開始。

"生身の身体から発生するエネルギーと質感"を根底に作品やパフォーマンスで表現、自分なりの哲学や美学を探求する。

KOTOMI IMAI

Born in Hokkaido

Started to be inlove with performing contemporaly dance in 2016 as she moved to Tokyo.

Gathering experiences by coriographers and at the jounior company, she now has began projects such as coriograph, improvisation, creating motion graphic, photograph, and instalation arts.

"The energy and the touch from the raw body" is her core treatment when she perform, and she still searching for the philosophy and the aesthetics of the crue of it.
